Big Game Transfer of Possesion
In Alaska, transferring possession of legally harvested game meat and trophies requires proper documentation and adherence to regulations. Essentially, you can transfer game meat as a gift or temporarily for transportation, but it must be in good condition, and a "Transfer of Possession" form (or equivalent documentation) must be completed and provided to the recipient. Similarly, trophies (hides, antlers, skulls) must be transported with the meat, unless specifically allowed by regulation.
